Kari is a dental hygienist who started working with Dr. Brad Krusky over 11 years ago.  Two years later she signed up to go on her first DFA mission; she was the first and only hygienist from his office to do so.  Since then, Kari has participated in six missions with DFA, travelling twice to Comitancillo, four times to El Remate and twice to Rio Dulce. On her second mission she also worked in Guatemala City, and considers herself fortunate to have seen many other beautiful areas in Guatemala including Antigua and Pana.

When I first started working with Brad he was going to Guatemala for five weeks each year, and I wanted to be part of what I would soon learn was a wonderful organization.  I have met some truly amazing people that I look forward to being on the trips with each year.
