Jan has a dentistry practice in Calgary, and has made 7 mission trips with DFA. He has signed up to go on his eighth trip (and third mission) to El Remate in February 2019. Jan’s other trips with DFA were to the clinic in Comitancillo, and he has also volunteered with another dental charity. Jan was introduced to DFA by his business partner, Dr. Manjula Reddy.

Helping people using the skills that only dentists have allows us to make such a difference in the communities we travel to. Since my first trip, I now spend four weeks a year doing dentistry overseas. The patients are so thankful and the hugs we get are the best!
