Charles is a professional photographer and videographer who has been on more than nine trips with DFA.  Back in Calgary, Charles does all of DFA’s design work and helps out wherever help is needed. Charles got involved with DFA when a mutual friend introduced him to Brad Krusky.  Charles was intrigued by Brad’s descriptions of DFA and the people it helps, and thought it would be a great project to document visually. A seasoned DFA volunteer, Charles has participated in mission trips to Comitancillo, El Remate, Guatemala City, and Mildred School in Guatemala, as well as to Nicaragua.  His first trip still holds a special place in his heart; everything was so new and exciting and he learned so much about how DFA works and the positive effect it has on so many people’s lives.
